The Corrosive Resistance Cooling Unit (CRCU) Mechanical Engineer will support the evaluation, definition, and development of advanced HVAC and thermal management solutions for mission-critical U.S. Government systems. This position will contribute to assessing existing cooling infrastructure, developing technical requirements, and supporting modernization efforts for demanding operational environments. The engineer will participate in systems engineering, mechanical and HVAC design, thermal analysis, engineering trade studies, and subsystem integration activities. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts to maintain requirements traceability, support system architecture development, and ensure design consistency throughout the program lifecycle. The selected candidate will assist in translating customer and program requirements into practical engineering solutions, perform technical analyses, develop engineering documentation, and contribute to technical presentations and reviews. The role provides opportunities to work alongside senior engineers and government stakeholders while gaining experience in complex thermal management and mechanical systems. Experience supporting government, aerospace, defense, or industrial engineering programs involving mechanical, HVAC, thermal management, or environmental control systems is preferred.
