About The Position
This role focuses on electromechanical packaging, design, analysis, and testing for harsh and rugged environments. The responsibilities include modifying existing designs and creating new ones for various applications such as racks, shelters, enclosures, airborne, shipborne, and rack-mount chassis, as well as circuit card assemblies (CCAs). The position requires ensuring that new designs meet technical objectives while staying within budget and schedule constraints. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the creation of specifications, participating in the proposal process, and delivering presentations to customers or management.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Completed Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
Responsibilities
- Electromechanical packaging, design, analysis, and test for harsh and rugged environments
- Modification of existing and/or creation of new designs including racks, shelters, enclosures, airborne, shipborne, and rack-mount chassis, and circuit card assemblies (CCAs)
- Ensure new designs progress according to technical objectives, within budgetary and schedule constraints
- Assist in specification creation, the proposal process, and presentations to customers or management
