About The Position

Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development activities and factory support of existing products. Translate product requirements into mechanical specifications and test plans, execute verification testing, and conduct structural and thermal design analysis and testing to demonstrate that designs meet customer requirements. Understand customer needs, generate and execute test procedures, process engineering change orders as required, and work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering, or have completed a bachelor's degree in one of these fields within the last 12 months. This eligibility requirement applies regardless of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development and factory support of existing products.
• Translate product requirements into mechanical specifications and test plans for development.
• Execute verification testing defined by mechanical specifications and test plans.
• Conduct structural and thermal design analysis and testing to demonstrate designs meet customer requirements.
• Understand customer needs, generate test procedures, and execute tests.
• Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECOs) as required.
• Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
