ASSOCIATE MECHANICAL ENGINEER
About The Position
Quality Consulting Group is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support for agricultural operations, crop production systems, and related equipment. The role supports the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, and production equipment to promote operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety standards. The engineer works with agricultural, field operations, and maintenance teams to address technical issues, improve processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The position may involve both office and field environments.
Requirements
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, agricultural machinery, and equipment maintenance principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and engineering specifications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments, as required.

Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for agricultural machinery, equipment, and crop production systems.
- Assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment used in cultivation and field operations.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend modifications to improve efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and equipment improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the design and optimization of irrigation systems, mechanical systems, and agricultural equipment.
- Review technical drawings, equipment specifications, manuals, and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with agricultural, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure equipment and operations comply with applicable safety procedures and industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, maintenance records, and engineering documentation.
- Support continuous improvement projects related to agricultural processes and equipment performance.
