About The Position
This role focuses on electromechanical packaging, design, analysis, and testing for harsh and rugged environments. Responsibilities include modifying existing designs and creating new ones for various applications such as racks, shelters, enclosures, airborne, shipborne, and rack-mount chassis, as well as circuit card assemblies (CCAs). The position requires ensuring that new designs meet technical objectives while adhering to budget and schedule constraints. Additionally, the role involves assisting in specification creation, the proposal process, and customer or management presentations.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
Nice To Haves
- CAD skills are highly desired
- Understanding of basic aircraft systems
Responsibilities
- Electromechanical packaging, design, analysis, and test for harsh and rugged environments
- Modification of existing and/or creation of new designs including racks, shelters, enclosures, airborne, shipborne, and rack-mount chassis, and circuit card assemblies (CCAs)
- Ensure new designs progress according to technical objectives, within budgetary and schedule constraints
- Assist in specification creation, the proposal process, and presentations to customers or management
