Following written instructions, this role assembles a variety of components to produce sub-assemblies or finished products that meet specific print requirements. The assembler operates production equipment that is already set up and with a defined process. They read basic blueprints and mechanical assembly drawings, and are able to follow written and verbal instructions. The role requires accurate measurement tasks utilizing devices such as calipers and micrometers. Adherence to cGMP manufacturing requirements, including accurate documentation, is essential. The assembler must observe all safety rules and regulations, including wearing protective equipment when required. They are capable of assembling devices containing small parts, and print labels and package a variety of products or sub-assemblies following established procedures. This position requires willingness and ability to work all scheduled overtime, at established production rates, with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. The role involves continuous rotation through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment. Communication with other shifts regarding the status of parts, equipment, and other relevant matters is expected. Final pack duties may be assigned. The role also involves sustaining and maintaining 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
