Associate, Materials & Processes Engineering
About The Position
The Propulsion Materials and Process Engineering team is responsible for evaluating and implementing tractable solutions to technical problems in production or during development involving the utilization of materials engineering and material science analysis techniques. This team applies advanced principles, theories and concepts in the propulsion field with an emphasis on propellant chemistry technology and manufacturing, with a working knowledge of other related disciplines (thermal and structural). In this role, the candidate will gain experience in process control, lean manufacturing best practices, and manufacturing operations of items such as propellants, explosives and liners.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
