About The Position
We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Associate Material Handlers for the summer season. You will perform and complete basic material handling essential functions with a focus on understanding and meeting productivity and accuracy goals.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age
- The ability to read, write, and speak English
- High School Diploma, GED or 1 year of relevant work experience
- Demonstrate the ability to match part numbers
- Demonstrate the ability to enter data within systems
- Basic proficiency in navigating the Internet and/or computer systems to locate information
Nice To Haves
- Come up with simple solutions to complex problems
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and products.
- Operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Performing inventory counts and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborating with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
