About The Position

Izzo Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFT/APCC/ACSW) who are passionate about working with children and families. The role involves supporting vulnerable, underserved populations through difficult life transitions. The practice emphasizes a supportive and collaborative culture where therapists can grow professionally and personally. Associates will work with a diverse client base, including those experiencing divorce, custody battles, trauma, anxiety, depression, and those from low-income and multilingual backgrounds. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote and in-office sessions.

Requirements

  • Hold an AMFT/ASW/APCC license in California.

Responsibilities

  • Work with children, parents, and families.
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 clients scheduled per week, including notes, treatment plans, dx, and clinical enrichment.
  • Work a hybrid schedule of remote and in-person sessions in San Mateo, CA and San Carlos, CA.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and engage in continuous learning.
  • Utilize provided resources, training, and coaching for professional and personal development.
  • Work with young children and receive training and support to become a skilled child therapist.
  • Meet with supervisor for weekly group and individual supervision.
  • Attend company meetings and individual Professional Development meetings.
