About The Position

Izzo Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking individuals who are passionate about mental health and want to make a difference in the lives of children and families. We are a group practice dedicated to supporting vulnerable and underserved populations through difficult life transitions. Our practice is recognized as a valuable resource for clients dealing with divorce, custody battles, trauma, depression, anxiety, and for low-income and multilingual families. We invest in our therapists, creating a safe and open environment for collaboration, problem-solving, and professional growth. We are looking for genuine, compassionate, and inspirational individuals who are eager to learn and grow within our supportive community.

Requirements

Located in California - offices in San Mateo and San Carlos
Hold an AMFT/ASW/APCC license in California
Choose to operate from a growth mindset and the understanding that we are all learning together
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to continuously innovate to achieve great results
Foster collaboration by putting people first and building trusting relationships
Communicate with honesty and grace and create a space for others to do the same

Responsibilities

Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 clients scheduled per week, including notes, treatment plans, dx, and clinical enrichment.
Work in-person sessions in our offices located in San Mateo, CA and San Carlos, CA, based on office availability.
Strive to find the joy and excitement in learning and collaborate with other curious minds.
Take advantage of offered resources, training, and coaching to develop professionally and personally.
Be open to working with young children and receive training and support to become an effective child therapist.
Meet with supervisor for both group and individual supervision weekly.
Attend company meetings and individual Professional Development meetings.
