About The Position

Our client is a well-established nonprofit arts and entertainment organization seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Associate Marketing Director to support marketing, communications, audience engagement, and event promotion efforts. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys a mix of digital marketing, content creation, social media management, community outreach, and event support. The Associate Marketing Director will play a key role in promoting live events, fundraising initiatives, educational programs, and a nationally recognized annual festival. Working closely with senior leadership, this position will help drive audience growth, ticket sales, donor engagement, and brand awareness across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing, communications, public relations, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging multimedia content.
  • Proficiency with Canva; Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in nonprofit organizations, arts and entertainment, festivals, tourism, or event marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing campaigns for concerts, special events, fundraising efforts, and community programs.
  • Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Write promotional content, press releases, advertising copy, and email communications.
  • Develop and edit short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.
  • Assist with paid advertising campaigns through Meta, Google, and other digital channels.
  • Design digital and printed marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Support ticketing setup, website updates, event listings, and basic SEO initiatives.
  • Track marketing performance metrics, engagement data, and campaign results.
  • Coordinate grassroots marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives.
  • Support merchandise sales, inventory management, and event-related retail operations.
