About The Position

The Boeing Company's Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking Associate Manufacturing Engineers for the F-15 program located in Berkeley, MO. Boeing St. Louis is a hub for advanced manufacturing, designing and producing cutting-edge military products vital to national defense, with a commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability. This role is instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for Fighter Jet programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Science or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
  • Experience with 3D model-based instruction.
  • Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi- Monitor Collaborative Rooms.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for air vehicle subsystems.
  • Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.
