About The Position

Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is currently seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to become part of the Executive Transportation Production Engineering team in San Antonio, TX. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret and a Yankee White Clearance Post-Start, Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2+ years of experience related to product development (configuration management, design, integration, quality, etc.)
2+ years of experience researching and implementing new technologies and innovative practices in manufacturing processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality in aerospace production
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance
Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience performing work per written documentation/authorities and knowledge of how release authority works
2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment as quality, manufacturing engineering or manufacturing
2+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
2+ years of experience with data analysis and / or process improvements
Experience with the following software: CAPP (MeSci), GoldEsp, REDARS-EID, IVT, WIRS, CATIA, ENOVIA
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions
Assists with the implementation of manufacturing plans
Co-author the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for the build
Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
Work with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
