About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) GFE Production Engineering team is hiring an Associate Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support the technical statement of work in Oklahoma City, OK and San Antonio, TX. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK and San Antonio, TX. This position requires the ability to obtain an interim and/or final U.S. Secret and a Yankee White Clearance Post-Start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 2 or more years' related work experience
  • 1 or more years of experience with REDARS, GOLDesp, WIRS, Microsoft Excel, IVT, MESci.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to obtain an interim and/or final U.S. Secret and a Yankee White Clearance Post-Start.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for the clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of REDARS, GOLDesp, WIRS, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT, MESci.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.
  • Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
  • Assists in implementing manufacturing plans.
  • Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
  • Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
  • Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Reviews electrical design requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs.
  • Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
  • Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system.
  • Support as a liaison Manufacturing Engineer (wire shop and shipside environments).
