About The Position

Bristol Myers Squibb is reimagining the future of cell therapy and is looking for innovative, intellectually curious individuals with a general understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to support routine manufacturing operations for Cell Therapy. Successful candidates must be goal-oriented and flexible, with the ability to work effectively and efficiently on a team while demonstrating safety, quality, and GMP compliance at all times. The role involves learning and executing Cell Therapy Manufacturing operations in compliance with governing documents, performing tasks in accordance with safety policies and quality systems, and working in cleanroom environments to perform aseptic processing activities. Requirements

  • Proven experience working on teams where collaboration and results were expected.
  • Proficiency in common computer tools such as word processing, spreadsheet, and web-based applications.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and personal accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; attentive and approachable.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and productive relationship with area management and co-workers.
  • A minimum high school diploma and/or equivalent is required.
  • 0–1 year of cGMP cell therapy manufacturing, bioprocessing manufacturing, or relevant experience and education.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance applicable to biologics and cell therapy manufacturing is preferred.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and execute Cell Therapy Manufacturing operations in compliance with Source Governing Documents (including SOPs, Work Instructions, Batch Records, and Forms).
  • Execute operations and transactions in electronic systems while adhering to business continuity processes.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with safety policies, quality systems, cGMP requirements, and ALCOA+ principles.
  • Prioritize safety of self and others; report safety events within 24 hours and immediately escalate issues impacting safety or compliance.
  • Complete required documentation contemporaneously and verify training completion prior to performing GxP activities.
  • Execute daily manufacturing operations schedules, supporting people, product, and material flow across shifts.
  • Work in cleanroom environments and perform aseptic processing activities as assigned.
  • Maintain manufacturing environmental conditions through required cleaning and disinfection activities to meet Health Authority expectations.
  • Train for proficiency in manufacturing process systems and supporting business systems.
  • Support continuous improvement of manufacturing techniques to improve operational efficiency.
