Assists in managing a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsible for the development, coordination and administration of the department. Oversees departmental budgets, purchase orders, travel reimbursements, pcard activity, encumbrances, budget revisions, prepares analysis reviews and monitors financial reports to support financial planning and resource management. Serves as a senior resource and subject matter expert for staff and supported departments regarding finance processes, institutional procedures, accounting practices, budget activity, procurement requirements, and transaction workflow. Coordinates daily workload and priorities to ensure transactions are processed efficiently, deadlines are met, and service expectations are maintained for all supported departments, personally performing or directing work as needed to maintain service levels and operational continuity. Oversees billing activities, ensuring charges are accurate, properly documented, and processed in a timely manner. Monitors accounts receivable activities, including payment reconciliation and collections. Oversees payment processing activities and assists in resolving vendor and customer billing inquiries. Supports institutional year-end requirements, audits, compliance, and reporting. Assists with the administration of institutional lease agreements and purchasing contracts. Supports real estate acquisition activities by coordinating contract requirements, monitoring critical deadlines, and ensuring timely completion of obligations. Serves as a liaison with property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders to address lease-related issues. Oversees rent collection activities and ensures payments are received, recorded, and tracked in a timely manner. Remain current with all licensures, certifications, and mandatory compliance and training requirements for this position.
