About The Position

L3Harris Missile Propulsion Systems is seeking an Associate Manager, Supplier Quality, to help strengthen supplier performance across our enterprise. In this leadership role, you will partner closely with Supply Chain, Program Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to drive consistent quality outcomes and improve supplier capabilities. The Associate Manager will support the development and deployment of Supplier Quality best practices while leading initiatives that enhance operational execution and reduce risk. This position plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time and within cost objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of supplier quality experience; OR Graduate Degree and 4 years of supplier quality experience; OR in lieu of a degree, 10 years of supplier quality experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

  • Experience leading Supplier Quality teams in multi-site manufacturing environments with demonstrated supply chain performance improvements.
  • High level of initiative and ability to influence and drive organizational change.

Responsibilities

  • Support Supplier Quality Engineers in establishing schedules and resolving complex technical or operational issues.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Engineering to identify, select, and develop suppliers.
  • Communicate product and quality requirements to Supplier Quality Engineers.
  • Work directly with suppliers to resolve issues, including root‑cause analysis and corrective action closure.
  • Ensure risks are documented, managed, and mitigated.
  • Manage day‑to‑day activities for Supplier Quality Assurance personnel, including planning organizational objectives and delegating assignments.
  • Align staffing priorities with Program Management and Supply Chain.
  • Manage budgets, logistics, and coordinate continuing education and development for SQA personnel.
  • Lead salary planning and execution of strategic objectives for salaried staff.
  • Support site, program, and proposal activities.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to develop and lead initiatives that improve overall supplier performance.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement activities using standardized business operating system tools.
  • Develop supplier improvement methodologies and implementation plans
