About The Position

Clearsulting is seeking an Associate Manager, Plan to Perform (FP&A) to join their team. This role involves leading conversations with finance leaders and executive stakeholders to understand their FP&A/EPM strategic agenda and provide actionable insights. The Associate Manager will guide and oversee EPM/FP&A implementation projects, including process assessments and redesign, and EPM system selection. They will assist in managing workstreams, ensuring delivery across the full System Development Lifecycle (functional and technical requirements, integrations, testing cycles, and go-live). The role requires applying deep functional expertise across corporate finance EPM/FP&A processes, developing and maintaining detailed project plans, and proactively managing milestones, risks, dependencies, and change impacts. Additionally, the Associate Manager will create and deliver executive-quality communications and presentations that clearly articulate complex business concepts, and build strong client and internal relationships while consistently modeling the Clearsulting Core Values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related field of study
  • 3+ years of management consulting experience in the EPM/FP&A space or 5+ years of experience in an internal company FP&A role
  • Proven project and people leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and Canada
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ certifications and/or implementations in relevant technology (Pigment, Anaplan, OneStream). Pigment experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to upskill on the Pigment platform.
  • Project management experience, including workplan development, milestone tracking, risk management, status reporting, and change management
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to or lead practice growth initiatives tied to revenue and margin outcomes
  • Experience building and maintaining strong client and internal relationships within a consulting environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing
