About The Position

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian (CHA HPMC) is a nationally recognized acute care facility that has been caring for the Hollywood community and Los Angeles Areas since 1924. The best women’s hospital in Los Angeles is looking for current RN candidates to staff Operating Room, Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby care units to be housed in our expanding new patient tower facility scheduled to open next year. The Associate Manager, Corporate Affairs will make meaningful contributions by helping to engage our stakeholders in the CHA HPMC mission to provide quality care. We are seeking a Corporate Affairs Associate Manager to support cross-functional partners while overseeing the social media strategy and implementation, brand reputation, media relations, and internal communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to work in a union environment.
  • 3-5 total years of communications experience within journalism, corporate, or agency setting
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills
  • Excellent computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environments and Microsoft Office
  • Must be proficient in basic design programs including Adobe Creative Suite Writing and proofing skills are also required
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
  • Current Los Angeles County Fire Card required (within 30 days of employment).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or Equivalent
  • 3 or more years of communications experience within journalism, corporate, or agency setting
  • Demonstrates broad experience of developing and executing strategic communication plans and correlating metrics while managing competing priorities
  • Demonstrates in-depth understanding of target audience, highly effective writing style and expertise in high-impact messaging to broad audiences
  • Performs as self-motivated, solutions-oriented communications profession will recommend innovative communications approaches and take initiative in a fluid and fast-[aced environment
  • Exhibits highly organized, detail-oriented work style with outstanding follow-through skills
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills and has familiarity with major social media platforms and digital tools
  • Adept at working in a team environment while also displaying independence, initiative and enterprise; ability to maintain high productivity while balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop social media strategy and oversee all related content development strategy to support the overarching business objectives in close partnership with clinical departments, regulatory, and other function leads
  • Identify and assess emerging earned traditional and social media outlets (e.g., streaming channels, blogs, etc.)
  • Build and execute enterprise-wide earned and paid social media strategy
  • Develop strong relations with earned social media reporters, editors, and bloggers
  • Identify and optimize traditional and social media monitoring platforms for real time monitoring and reporting
  • Accelerate and drive volume to strategic initiatives via advertising
  • Track, manage, and optimize social media performance and engagement metrics
  • Assist with development of executive or company briefing materials
  • Provide media monitoring wrap reports around enterprise and other key announcements and news
  • Partner with clinical, administration, and legal to develop consistent results reports for major milestones, influencer analyses, and retrospective media analysis
  • Serve as a communications lead and expert to provide counseling to cross-functional teams
  • Accelerate and drive volume to strategic initiatives via campaigns
  • Track, manage, and optimize media relations performance and metrics
  • Lead and manage internal communications and provide ongoing council and maintain regular interactions with clinical departments (i.e., department communication, organizational updates, and newsletter)
  • Manage agencies and vendor for development of graphics for social media or internal communications- and any variety of quick-turnaround creative needs that will be handled by the internal marketing team.
  • Support team on internal and community events
  • Track and manage budget, POs, and invoices
