As an associate your training will provide you with the platform for success to undertake the Manager Cash Management (MCM) role which is responsible for realizing the commercial bank’s product, deposit, and fee revenue growth targets. This is a mentorship training program where you will receive day to day support from an existing MCM who will oversee your program. The Manager Cash Management (MCM) is a resident product expert, identifying and exploiting opportunities to introduce cash management and deposit products to our commercial banking clients. You are relied upon to add value to existing customer relationships by providing a package of services that will allow them to leverage the contribution of their deposit balances to the businesses bottom line while simplifying the accounting/management of cash flows and capital allocations across their organization. In addition to mining one of the largest commercial customer bases in Canada, you will also be relied upon to provide a point of entry for TD to offer deposit and credit services to businesses currently being serviced by our competitors. You will participate in developing and executing a comprehensive cash management plan for the branch. On a regular basis you will conduct independent as well as joint business development presentations with commercial bankers and structure business proposals that will enable you to provide strategic and creative solutions for each customers unique cash management requirements. Once a package of products has been selected, you will oversee the execution of the plan and the installation of product packages into the customer’s organization. Thereafter, you are relied upon to identify additional customer needs and communicate those to the credit relationship manager as appropriate. The position reports to the Unit Leader or a more senior Manager Cash Management in larger units. This position is accountable to deliver a superior customer experience and drive profitable business growth.
