The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including handling, moving, loading, and unloading materials using manual methods or material handling equipment. This role ensures accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory while maintaining compliance with company policies and operational standards. The associate plays a key role in ensuring timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and efficient warehouse organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0–1 year of general work experience; prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory processes
  • Ability to follow standard procedures and work in a structured environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform routine tasks with accuracy under close supervision
  • Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions clearly
  • Willingness to learn company systems, policies, and procedures
  • Must be prepared to pass a drug test and successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check.

Responsibilities

  • Handle, move, load, and unload materials manually or using appropriate material handling equipment
  • Open, inspect, and seal crates, boxes, cartons, and other containers
  • Receive, sort, store, and distribute materials accurately and efficiently
  • Process orders based on requisitions and pick/pack stock items for shipment
  • Support shipping and receiving activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise and maintain organized stock areas
  • Assist with inventory management activities, including cycle counts and stock rotation
  • Maintain and update purchase order systems to reflect received, cancelled, or backordered shipments
  • Complete and process inventory-related documentation accurately
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies or issues to management as needed
  • Participate in kitting, bundling, and component sorting activities as required
