About The Position

This role is a great fit if you've recently graduated or have early experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, insurance sales, college admissions, or financial services. As a Loan Advisor, you'll handle inbound calls and warm leads, (no cold calling!), consulting with customers to help them refinance their auto loans. In this role, you will leverage a consultative sales approach to advise customers on the purchase of additional protection products including vehicle protection services and other offerings. You will provide customers with a thorough explanation of the loan terms, as well as aftermarket products and extended service contracts. You will effectively manage and maintain a large pipeline of prospective customers, conduct business in an ethical and professional manner, in congruence with lender guidelines, finance laws, and internal compliance guidelines, and process finance deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure funding. You will also perform needs assessments, overcome objections, and manage customer expectations. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • A degree from a recognized college or university
  • Strong customer service skills and a natural ability to build rapport
  • Clear communication and active listening skills
  • The ability to absorb information quickly and apply it in real-time conversations
  • Comfort learning new technology and navigating multiple software platforms
  • Strong time management and organizational habits

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Competitive compensation: $50,000 base with monthly commission structure, average annual earnings for the first year are $75,000 with the ability to exceed the average due to uncapped commission potential.
