About The Position

Boutique litigation firm in Pleasanton is seeking an experienced litigation associate to join their busy practice. Position will be in person to start and after time, remote or hybrid schedules can be an option.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of practice/California bar admission
• Team player but has ability to work independently as well
• Experience with Microsoft-based computer programs
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong experience with entering billing time and descriptions for all billable work
• Associate Attorney: 4 years (Required)
• Bar for minimum 4 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Management and handling from start to finish of assigned cases
• Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings and motions.
• Draft and respond to discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings and court appearances as needed.
• Analyze claims and provide carrier with interpretive evaluation.
• Draft detailed comprehensive status reports to carriers/clients.
