About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Legal Operations Processor to join the Consumer Banking and Lending Operations team. In this role, you will support more experienced processors with various operational tasks related to legal orders, ensuring adherence to timeframes and state statutes. You will also seek ways to improve work processes within established procedures, perform routine administrative and operational tasks, and provide training to less experienced processors on internal processes and state-specific statutes. You will receive direction from your supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles. Collaboration with peers, colleagues, and managers is essential for resolving issues and achieving goals. You will interact with internal customers and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Legal Operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to Interact with external requestors, primarily through phone calls
  • Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
  • Ability to identify potential operational issues and legal risks
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in home lending
  • Knowledge and understanding of processing and handling summon and subpoenas
  • Experience managing a pipeline of work from assignment to completion

Responsibilities

  • Provide training to less experienced processors on internal processes and external state specific statutes

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
