About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Legal Class Action Settlement Team. As a leader in risk management and settlement administration, we provide innovative solutions to complex legal matters involving consumer, securities, data breach, employment, and antitrust cases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is highly organized, enjoys working with data, and is eager to learn a specialized industry. The Associate will support project teams by coordinating activities, maintaining project documentation, tracking deadlines, and assisting with the administration of class action settlements. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, and work with large datasets. Experience with formulas, sorting/filtering, and pivot tables is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Eagerness to learn a new industry and develop expertise in class action settlement administration.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship, administrative, project coordination, legal support, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of class action settlement projects from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, clients, and vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Maintain project plans, track milestones, and assist with meeting project deadlines.
  • Prepare reports, organize project documentation, and monitor project deliverables.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and validate project data.
  • Assist with settlement distributions, quality control, and reporting to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify potential issues and communicate them to project managers in a timely manner.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional client service through professional communication and responsiveness.
