About The Position

HRD Aero Systems offers world-class service for the Aviation industry, specializing in servicing aviation safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, oxygen systems, and inflatables, as well as PMA Part sales. The Associate Lead will support the Department Lead by assigning work tasks, coordinating resources to optimize overhaul operations, and providing leadership and training to associates on the production floor.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
two years’ experience as technician or other production support role
strong technical knowledge of overhauling assemblies
excellent knowledge of HRD’s process and equipment functions
HRD Issued Repairman’s license or A&P license or obtain one within one year of promotion
Professional and effective communication skills
must display a positive attitude
Good oral and written communication skills
able to lead and motivate others to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Oversee technicians in the proper handling of articles and proper use of technical data while disassembling, segregating, cleaning, reassembling, packing, and servicing.
Monitor technicians in keeping their work areas clean and organized.
Support in training and development of associates, motivating the team to achieve productivity targets and company goals.
Coordinate resources and advise management of changes to production goals.
Perform administrative tasks and assist in the performance evaluation process.
