About The Position
The Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP is seeking associates for its Global Finance Group to work on Asset Based Lending transactions with its bank and non-bank clients. The group is also generally seeking associates to work on leveraged finance transactions, including work with lenders on direct lending transactions, syndicated finance deals and fund finance matters, as well as similar work with borrower/sponsor clients. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents and generally leading financing transactions.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience representing either lenders or borrowers in commercial lending transactions
- Must be admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in the state of Illinois

- Strong experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance
