Requirements

  • Equivalent experience in Hedge/Private Equity Fund administration and/or Investor Services.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Overtime may be required to meet Client and Department deliverables.
  • Due to global client base requirements, coverage on Canadian holidays may be necessary.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment and adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
  • You need to be legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified above and, where applicable, must be able to provide a valid work or study permit, if selected for an interview.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AEOI frameworks (FATCA/CRS), including investor classification, documentation review, and reporting, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in financial services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AML and KYC procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for investor services via email and telephone correspondence, including responding to inquiries related to AEOI obligations, FATCA, and CRS requirements.
  • Process investor subscription and redemption activity in accordance with the fund’s offering documents, AML, KYC, and AEOI (FATCA/CRS) regulatory requirements.
  • Review, collect, and validate investor tax documentation (e.g., W‑8/W‑9 forms, CRS self‑certifications) to ensure accurate FATCA/CRS classification and reporting readiness.
  • Communicate pending transactions to fund management as required, including updates on outstanding AEOI documentation or classification issues.
  • Ensure investor records—including tax residency, FATCA/CRS classifications, and reporting statuses—are complete, accurate, and maintained in compliance with AEOI regulations.
  • Support annual FATCA and CRS reporting cycles by ensuring investor data integrity, identifying documentation gaps, and escalating discrepancies to management.
  • Comply with department policies and procedures for all activities, including AEOI‑related controls and documentation standards.
  • Participate in system and process enhancements, particularly those related to AEOI data capture, workflow efficiency, and reporting automation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by department management.
