We're looking for an Associate or Intermediate Accountant to participate in the monthly and quarterly closing process including SEC filings and performance of related financial analysis. You'll demonstrate your financial analysis and analytical skills while reporting to the Manager - Financial Reporting in the Reporting and Consolidations Department. Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of financial analysis with strong analytical abilities
  • Creative problem solving and ability to generate high quality innovative solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and team building skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Associate I: No experience required
  • Associate II: 0-1 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate I: 2 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate II: 2-4 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years public accounting or experience in a multinational manufacturing company
  • SAP and/or Oracle EPM experience
  • CPA earned or in progress

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
  • Prepare consolidation journal entries, regional lease accounting entries and other related closing procedures
  • Assist in the accurate preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K in adherence with internal deadlines
  • Review regional financial statements and prepare analytic summaries to support internal controls over financial reporting
  • Administer the quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley Section 302 process within Workiva
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, identify system driven obstacles, and recommend a course of action for successful implementation
  • Assist in the ongoing administration of the new lease accounting standard
  • Perform benchmarking of peer filings to identify disclosure trends
