About The Position

In this position you will support the Private Infrastructure investment team and take part in all aspects of private infrastructure investments. This includes sourcing, assessing, executing and monitoring private infrastructure transactions with a focus on North American infrastructure equity investments. The role location is in our Denver office.

Requirements

Between two to four years of relevant work experience, preferably including background in principal investing or investment banking
Excellent analytical, financial, interpersonal, and client-facing skills, combined with the desire to learn and succeed
Expert knowledge of Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to conduct research and cope with incomplete information
Strong project management skills and ability to lead transactions
Strong written and oral communications skills
Superior organizational competence (planning, coordinating and time management)
Excellent teamwork skills and comfort with constant non-personal communications
The ability to be self-driven and self-motivated.
Top academic credentials (MBA/CFA optional) with a coursework emphasis on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Engineering

Responsibilities

Lead quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective private infrastructure investments
Own and run sophisticated infrastructure financial models
Analyze and prepare investment memoranda for Partners Group's Investment Committee
Take a lead role in monitoring infrastructure investments and managing relationships to infrastructure managers in Americas, including regular interaction with investment partners (includes regular travel within North America)
Perform various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts
