About The Position

This role serves as a lead advisory colleague on medium-sized, less complex books of business. You will develop a strong understanding of clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs, and provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients. You will also utilize risk expertise and knowledge of the industry and insurance marketplace to review clients’ exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for standard client needs.

Requirements

Experience in advisory, client service, or insurance brokerage roles supporting medium-sized accounts
Strong understanding of risk management, insurance placement, and client service delivery
Ability to manage renewal and placement strategies in coordination with internal partners
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills

Strong knowledge of current market conditions and insurance marketplace trends

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs and provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients.
Utilize risk expertise and knowledge of the industry and insurance marketplace to review clients’ exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for standard client needs.
Execute renewal and placement strategies in conjunction with the Placement, Advisory Leader, and Client Executive in accordance with client instructions.
Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develop and suggest innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
Partner with Placement to receive, negotiate, and evaluate quotes from carriers to deliver the best options to clients.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
Maintain quality in all areas of client deliverables, including monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure client satisfaction.
Keep abreast of changing market conditions and contribute to the firm’s body of knowledge within the product line through active internal communication.
