About The Position

Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa is seeking an Associate Housing General Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for maintaining associate housing facilities, ensuring all non-trade mechanical items are in good working order, and responding to maintenance requests. The resort offers a dynamic work environment with comprehensive training and a culture of respect and empowerment.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with or notify department/stakeholders throughout associate housing facilities regarding any shutdowns, water back-ups, or failures that will impact the resort in a confident and professional manner.
  • Must be able to create work orders in the appropriate Omni work request program.
  • Ability to complete most general maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain all non-trade mechanical items in associate housing rooms and public associate housing areas.
  • Receive direction for calls via radio.
  • Assists and coordinates with other trades for major repairs.
  • Clean all work areas once job is complete.
  • Aids in diagnoses of malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Uses a variety of tools and equipment including but not limited to power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
  • Works with each department to assure emergency and safety work orders are handled promptly.
  • Work on other equipment as needed.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
