About The Position

The Associate Head of Planning develops and implements comprehensive financial plans and strategies tailored to clients' goals and needs. This role provides investment advice, retirement planning, risk management, and tax optimization services. This position collaborates with clients to assess financial situations, set objectives, and monitor progress to ensure long-term financial security and growth.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of advanced estate planning techniques.
Solid understanding of irrevocable trusts, estate freezes, gifting strategies, and tax mitigation structures.
Working knowledge of permanent life insurance products (i.e., whole life, universal life, ILIT design, premium financing concepts).
Ability to apply structural thinking.
Ability to be precise and possess high attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex ideas and processes into clear, understandable language.
Demonstrate high professionalism and intellectual rigor.
Demonstrate a collaborative mindset.
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in high-net-worth planning.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient with financial planning software and portfolio reporting tools.
Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66).
Life, Health, and Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
