The Associate Head Coach, Rowing reports directly to the Head Coach and is responsible for assisting in all aspects of running a Division I Rowing program. This includes game preparation, teaching and coaching, planning and execution of team practice, recruitment and retention of student-athletes, program administration, academic integrity, and donor/alumni public relations. The Associate Head Coach must also abide by all conference and NCAA regulations to ensure departmental compliance. The role involves fostering a competitive, inclusive, and values-driven team culture, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for student-athletes, and providing mentorship for their personal and professional growth. The position also requires collaboration with various support staff, including academic and compliance services, athletic training, sports performance, sports psychology, and nutrition. Additionally, the Associate Head Coach will support fundraising and external efforts, represent the University positively, and oversee recruiting efforts in compliance with all regulations. Fiscal responsibility in managing the program's budget is also a key aspect of the role.
