About The Position

The Associate Ground & Flight Test Engineer, Integration & Safety supports the planning, coordination, and execution of ground and flight test campaigns in support of the Space-Based Interceptor (SBI) program. Working under the direction of the senior Ground & Flight Test Engineer, this role contributes across the full test lifecycle — from requirements development and procedure writing through test execution, data collection, and post-test reporting. This position assists in the development and maintenance of test plans, test procedures, and test schedules, ensuring documentation is current, traceable to requirements, and aligned with program objectives. The engineer will support integration activities across hardware, software, and ground support equipment (GSE), helping to verify interface definitions and track readiness status leading up to test events. This role supports safety coordination efforts by contributing to hazard analyses, System Safety Plans, and Range Safety documentation under the guidance of the senior engineer and safety leads. The engineer will participate in test readiness reviews (TRRs), safety reviews, and anomaly investigations, developing familiarity with the processes and standards that govern safe and effective test execution. This position provides an opportunity to grow rapidly within a high-consequence, fast-paced development program of highest national priority, gaining hands-on experience across ground test, flight test, integration, and safety disciplines simultaneously.
