This position works closely with the FHS Associate Dean Research and FHS Director, Research on supporting all aspects of the research portfolio. This spans pre- and post-award support to continuing and adjunct faculty, regular reporting of the unit's research income and activities, and coordination of research development sessions for faculty (research seminars; Tri-Council competition sessions; tenure and promotion processes, strategic planning), and data support for accreditation requirements. This position works within a highly collaborative, tight-knit, highly functional management culture. Our team is focused on and takes pride in delivering exceptional support to faculty for their research and to help prevent and reduce administrative burden associated with research. The position plays a critical partnership development role by being the primary point of contact for select external partners (First Nations Health Authority, BC Centre for Disease Control, etc.) for inquiries on both pre- and post- award activities related to external research funding.
