Specific Responsibilities Would Include Position Summary: The Associate, Global Compliance supports the execution of Centric Brands' licensor and customer social compliance programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Compliance, this role manages the factory audit and remediation process—from reviewing third-party audit reports and recording findings in our compliance platform (Inspectorio), to working with suppliers on corrective action plans in a timely manner and communicating with licensors and retail partners with compliance status updates. This is a detail-intensive, relationship-facing role that sits at the intersection of supplier and customer engagement, data management, and responsible sourcing. Success in this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, timely communication with key stakeholders, and effective partnership to support business priorities. The ideal candidate operates with accuracy, manages multiple priorities, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Work Schedule: This position is based in Greensboro, NC and follows a hybrid work schedule, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. This schedule is subject to change based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Sustainability, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or another related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a corporate setting, preferably within a large, multinational organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with internal teams, suppliers, licensors, and retail partners.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; able to maintain high data quality under pressure and across high volumes of information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and meet turnaround deadlines.
  • Fast learner with demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly on new technology platforms and business processes.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working with a degree of autonomy.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships across functions and effectively partner with stakeholders in a team-oriented environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of international labor standards and responsible sourcing frameworks (preferred).
  • Experience working with factory audit reports in the apparel industry or another global supply chain environment (preferred).
  • Familiarity with audit platforms and compliance management systems such as amfori, SEDEX, SLCP, or Worldly (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Review third-party social compliance audit reports and accurately record findings in Inspectorio, our compliance management platform.
  • Conduct audit equivalency by matching third-party audit non-compliances with Centric Brands' factory risk ratings.
  • Engage with suppliers to remediate non-compliance findings by sharing instructions and expectations, collecting evidence, tracking progress, and closing corrective action plans (CAPs) within required timeframes.
  • Monitor audit expiration dates to ensure continuous compliance across the supply chain.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for licensors and retail partners on social compliance queries and status updates.
  • Partner closely with internal teams across sourcing, production, operations, and other cross-functional business partners to resolve compliance-related questions, align on priorities, and escalate high-risk issues to senior leadership as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancements, data quality improvement efforts, development of training materials, and other business initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry developments in human rights due diligence and emerging compliance risks relevant to Centric Brands' sourcing footprint.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to support effective communication, collaboration, and execution of compliance initiatives.
