About The Position

The Associate General Manager, Full-Time position at the Versace Orlando Vineland Outlet reports directly to the General Manager. This role involves embodying the company and brand's image, demonstrating outstanding leadership, customer service, and communication skills. The Associate General Manager supports the development and leadership of a high-performance team focused on driving sales and achieving profitability through effective training, coaching, and motivation. They assist the General Manager in monitoring daily activities and sales staff efficiency, serving as a role model for the sales team. Compliance with operational and company policies and procedures is essential, as is enforcing these policies. The role actively supports the sales team's development in selling techniques, growth, and progression. A key aspect is active participation on the selling floor, building client relationships for Versace USA, Inc. The Associate General Manager is responsible for creating a dynamic environment with superlative customer service, ensuring the store and staff are inviting, professional, and knowledgeable about products and company information. Maintaining active social relationships with clients and the community, and understanding market needs and changes are also important. Collaboration in researching events, marketing, and client experiences within the competitive landscape to optimize business is expected, with findings presented to the General Manager and corporate partners. Support for back-of-house operations, including inventory, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, security/loss prevention, supplies, POS systems, shipping, receiving, and communications systems, is also required. Ensuring store presentation and visual merchandising standards align with company directives and achieving optimum shrink results through security measures and inventory accuracy are critical. The role demands consistent accountability and leadership in managing the store and employees, including effective delegation and fostering a professional work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management
• Full understanding of specialty retail, including clienteling, visual merchandising and store operations.
• Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel and email.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills allowing for communication of the company’s goals and objectives.
• Ability to thrive within a high paced environment, multi-tasks with ease while maintaining a balance of daily responsibilities.
• A positive, outgoing, high energy personality that is entrepreneurial, sales focused and can effectively partner and support the Store Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the General Manager, and assists in monitoring day to day activities, as well as the efficiency of the sales staff, and is considered a role model by the sales team.
• Remains in compliance with operational and company policies and procedures, and assures all policies are enforced.
• Plays an active supporting role on the development of the sales team with regards to selling tools, position growth and progression.
• Plays an active supporting role on the selling floor, building relationships with new and existing clients for Versace USA, Inc.
• Creates a dynamic environment with superlative customer service standards, and assures the store and staff are inviting, professional, and knowledgeable on product and related company information.
• Maintains an active social relationship with clients and community and understands the needs and changes of the market.
• Collaborates in the research of events, marketing and client experience within the competitive landscape to make suggestions for optimizing our business and present this information to the General Manager, corporate partners.
