About The Position

The Associate General Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and repair sales growth within a designated service business. Partnering with the Market General Manager, this leader develops high-performing teams, optimizes service operations, and executes strategies that drive sustainable business growth. This is a player-coach leadership role focused primarily on operations leadership and repair sales performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a service-oriented business.
  • Experience leading field operations, maintenance, repair, installation, customer service, logistics, facilities management, industrial services, or comparable operational teams.
  • Demonstrated success delivering business results through operational improvement, revenue growth, customer retention, and team development.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, performance metrics, and workforce planning.
  • Strong operations leadership and business acumen.
  • Financial analysis and budget management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with demonstrated service leadership experience.
  • Ability to influence change and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily service operations to achieve safety, quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability goals.
  • Drive repair sales growth through opportunity identification, pipeline reviews, forecasting, and execution excellence.
  • Coach and develop supervisors, technicians, administrators, and customer-facing teams.
  • Manage staffing, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Use data and KPIs to improve operational performance and customer outcomes.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
  • Act as a primary customer escalation and relationship management leader.
  • Partner with sales teams to increase customer retention and service growth.
  • Ensure compliance with labor agreements, policies, safety requirements, and business practices.
