Requirements

  • You bring a J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • You have 10+ years of M&A and capital markets experience, built on a strong law foundation with meaningful in-house time at a high-growth company.
  • You have led complex, cross-border transactions end to end, ideally including strategic investments and equity program work.
  • You lead and develop teams, with a track record of building and elevating high-performing legal talent.
  • You bring a practical, business-first mindset, sharp judgment, and the ability to distill complex legal concepts for non-lawyers.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and handle highly sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global transactions: Own all M&A, strategic investments, debt and equity financings, and other complex corporate transactions from strategy through close.
  • Structure and negotiate deals: Draft and negotiate term sheets, purchase agreements, and definitive and ancillary documents to land sound commercial and legal outcomes.
  • Advise the business: Serve as the lead in-house attorney on acquisitions, investments, and financings, guiding business leaders and the board across the full transaction lifecycle.
  • Partner with Finance: Collaborate on cash management, capital structure, corporate finance, and investor relations initiatives.
  • Oversee global governance: Manage corporate governance and subsidiary structures across dozens of countries, supporting treasury and capital markets activity.
  • Build and lead the team: Manage, develop, and elevate a team of corporate legal professionals, setting the bar for judgment, speed, and collaboration.
