About The Position

The Associate Formulations Scientist conducts routine laboratory experiments and produces timely, consistent-quality results. The role requires following procedures reliably, recognizing and escalating relevant issues, and working both independently and as part of a team. The position is full-time, based at a client site, with hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and occasional overtime required. Candidates within commuting distance of La Jolla, California, are recommended to apply.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or another related degree concentration.
At least 2 years of related experience.
At least 2 years of quantitative analytical HPLC experience.
Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Experience with routine laboratory experiments such as DSC, PXRD spectroscopy, solubility determinations, dissolution testing, and suspension processing.
