About The Position

This role provides centralized support to Financial Advisors and their clients by developing comprehensive financial plans and analyses, helping guide clients toward their long-term goals within a collaborative team environment. This is a hybrid position. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 1 year in financial services
  • For hybrid offices: FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or 63 and 65) required
  • Basic competency in all areas of financial planning
  • Working knowledge of the investment platform and financial planning software
  • Proofreading and analytical skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • High ethical standards
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of employees
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance licenses preferred
  • For RIA-only offices: Series 65 or one advanced designation (CFA, CFP, ChFC, CIC, or PFS) required
  • Experience with Workday preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organize clients’ financial documentation into the appropriate planning folders
  • Maintain the integrity of original client documents
  • Develop Profile and Strategy plans for clients
  • Provide summaries of client personal information, financial position, asset allocation, and analyze investments
  • Coordinate requests with Investment and Insurance departments as needed
  • Gather supporting documentation from clients when necessary
  • Discuss findings and coordinate recommendations with Financial Advisors
  • Review and summarize clients’ employer benefit plans, income tax returns, Social Security benefits, pension benefits, insurances, beneficiary information, and estate plans
  • Review and summarize wills, power of attorney, and other legal documents
  • Create reports and analyses using Morningstar and BRT (Kettley)
  • Incorporate analyses and recommendations into financial plans
  • Gather and verify insurance product illustrations for inclusion in the plan
  • Ensure suitability and quality of plans prior to client meetings
  • Submit Roundtable cases for feedback and finalize plans for delivery
  • Record notes in CRM and planning files regarding client communications and planning actions
  • Schedule client reviews and prepare review documentation
  • Maintain accurate account, beneficiary information, and required minimum distribution (RMD) tracking
  • Provide recommendations on investment objectives
  • Submit completed reviews to Financial Advisors or Associate Financial Advisors for final approval
  • Perform post-review tasks, update account information, follow up on paperwork, and document activities in CRM
  • Provide Financial Advisors with technical planning and research support
  • Attend and contribute to WEG monthly trainings, team meetings, and Financial Advisor meetings
  • Respond to questions and contribute to team problem-solving efforts
  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development
  • Support special projects as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned.
