About The Position

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst. This position will be located at our Space sector in Chandler, AZ. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic and Space Launch Operating Unit Program Finance team.

Requirements

Has completed their degree Bachelor’s from an accredited institution with 0-2 years of related experience.
Having majored in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or similar fields.
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry

Responsibilities

Actively participate in program Earned Value Management activities in compliance to IPMR/IPMDAR data reporting requirements; including preparation of earned value deliverables ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy.
Support baseline efforts, and Initial Baseline Reviews (IBR’s) with customers.
Preparation of EACs to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisions.
Preparation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.
Support internal and external support of compliance audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program Management.
Maintain the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics.
Other duties as assigned.
