We are looking for a motivated and client-focused person to join our advisory team. As a Associate Financial Advisor, you will work closely with lead advisors to deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to a growing client base. You will play an active role in client relationships, portfolio analysis, and financial plan development while building toward a path to full advisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Goal driven, growth mindset a must
  • Active Series 7, 65 or Series 66, New Jersey Life and Health license (required at time of hire)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
  • 1 or more years of experience in financial planning, asset management, or a related role
  • Proficiency with financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro) and CRM platforms (salesforce)
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of integrity and commitment to fiduciary standards

Responsibilities

  • Follow the Springbrook Wealth Advisor service model to support client retention and growth
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients, handling inquiries and service requests
  • Prepare for and lead client review meetings, including materials and follow-up
  • Proactively identify opportunities to deepen relationships and address new planning needs
  • Onboard new clients: account opening, data gathering, and risk profiling
  • Manage client administrative needs, including estate settlements
  • Participate in client events and networking to help grow the practice
  • Coordinate with clients' accountants and lawyers for comprehensive advice
  • Build financial plans covering retirement, investment, tax, insurance, and estate planning
  • Analyze portfolios and recommend investments aligned with client goals and risk tolerance
  • Model financial scenarios and present findings to clients and lead advisors
  • Monitor client portfolios and flag issues needing attention
  • Review insurance needs and recommend coverage for life, disability, and long-term care
  • Recommend annuity options as needed
  • Document all client interactions, transactions, and recommendations per firm policy and regulations
  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM and portfolio management systems
  • Support compliance reviews, audits, and reporting
  • Stay current on regulatory changes affecting advisory services
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings
