Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, economics or Finance or equivalent work experience
  • One (1) or more years of experience in a financial sales position
  • FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 and 66 and state life and health insurance licenses or ability to obtain within six months
  • Satisfactory background check and clean record with securities regulations bodies

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining a strong book of investment clients by offering non-deposit investment solutions and delivering a high-quality member experience
  • Profiling members to identify financial goals and opportunities, and providing guidance to support informed decision-making
  • Collaborating with front-line teams, branch partners, and other business lines to increase investment awareness and penetration
  • Conducting financial education seminars and leveraging credit union resources to grow and engage clientele
  • Supporting licensed Financial Advisors in expanding investment account penetration and managing client relationships, including smaller accounts
  • Achieving and exceeding production and revenue goals by contributing to both transactional and recurring advisory business
  • Staying current on market trends, financial planning strategies, technology, and wealth management tools
  • Maintaining compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policies, including acquiring and holding required FINRA and state insurance licenses
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate client documentation and CRM records, and responding promptly to suitability and compliance inquiries
  • Completing all required continuing education to remain in good standing with regulatory bodies and the organization
  • Representing the organization with professionalism and integrity while contributing ideas to improve processes and performance
  • Supporting and promoting the investment program across the organization, participating in team meetings, and providing backup support as needed
