About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Associate, Field Engineer to join our dynamic team in the testing and troubleshooting of AUVs. This is a unique opportunity for a student with a maritime engineering background to gain hands-on experience working with autonomous systems in real-world maritime conditions.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Ocean Engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Responsibilities

Participate in both onshore and offshore testing of autonomous underwater vehicles in various environmental conditions.
Work alongside industry experts to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to AUV hardware, sensors, and software.
Assist with the collection of test data, performing basic analysis and documenting findings for future improvements and reporting.
Help with routine maintenance and preparation of AUV systems, including checking and preparing hardware before field testing.
Engage with experienced engineers and professionals in both classroom settings and field operations, learning hands-on troubleshooting and best practices.
Ensure that all field activities follow safety protocols, environmental standards, and legal requirements.
Assist in creating technical reports, detailing testing procedures, results, and recommendations for future test iterations or improvements.
