About The Position
The Boeing Company's Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering team, specifically on the P-8 Sustainment program, is seeking an Associate Engineering Data Scientist to join their team in Tukwila, Washington. This role focuses on Integrated Health Management Systems (IHMS) and involves working in a dynamic environment to collect and analyze data, providing actionable recommendations for product improvements and decision support.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical or engineering field.
- Experience developing and testing software products in a cloud computing environment.
- Education or experience in computational problem solving or data analytics (e.g. software development with C++, Java, or Python).
- Experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a role that requires strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in engineering change management.
- Experience providing engineering support to aircraft production systems.
Responsibilities
- Performs data analysis integral to the research, development, test and evaluation of company products or manufacturing processes.
- Investigates and applies best fit methods and algorithms, validates results and performs necessary data preparation and enhancements to models.
