About The Position

Vishay manufactures discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components used in markets including automotive, industrial, computing, consumer, telecommunications, military, aerospace, and medical. The Associate Engineer contributes to product development by working on assigned portions of projects under established guidance. The role involves executing case-specific development procedures, using design and simulation programs, supporting engineers with technical issues, and cooperating with external service providers. Access to information governed by ITAR and/or EAR means applicants must qualify as “U.S. Persons” under U.S. federal law.

Requirements

• Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” under U.S. federal law because the position requires access to information subject to ITAR and/or EAR.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned parts or steps of product development projects using established procedures and guidance.
• Design parts according to provided specifications using 3D design and simulation programs.
• Support engineers in resolving issues, including building or testing prototypes, calibrating, calculating, and upscaling.
• Cooperate with or support external service providers in their work.
