About The Position

The Associate Engineer provides remote support for desktop systems in an enterprise environment. The role includes installing and configuring PCs or laptops according to the bank’s requirements, diagnosing and resolving issues in coordination with IIMC, OEMs, and third-party support vendors, and supporting the bank’s operating systems and Office Automation software. The position also handles client software installation, network connectivity issues, antivirus, patching, and backup management in accordance with processes and policies defined by IIMC/SIDBI. Good communication skills are required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of total experience, including a minimum of 1 year managing desktops in an enterprise environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Meet one of the following education pathways: full-time graduation from a recognized university or institute plus at least a 1-year postgraduate degree or diploma course in Computer Science; an engineering degree from a recognized institute; or a 3-year Diploma in Computer Engineering from a recognized institute.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure desktop PCs or laptops according to the bank’s requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve desktop problems in coordination with IIMC, OEMs, and third-party support vendors.
• Support operating systems and Office Automation software used by the bank.
• Install software on client systems.
• Resolve network connectivity issues.
• Manage antivirus, patches, and backups according to IIMC/SIDBI processes and policies.
