About The Position

The Test Manufacturing Associate Engineer repairs and improves manual and automated test equipment and supports programs that are used for product testing and design verification. This role is for the 2nd shift and offers an hourly rate plus a shift premium, eligibility for overtime, and quarterly bonuses.

Requirements

Required to be onsite
Strong knowledge of Linux preferred
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Strong knowledge of electrical circuits
Knowledge of test equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, soldering irons, multimeters, logic analyzers, function generator, ICT, flying probe)
Required knowledge of electrical test equipment
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight deadlines
Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Under supervision and with assistance, develop, qualify, and install test applications into manufacturing operations.
Optimize the Test process focusing on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield.
Debug of solutions provided by external vendors or customers based on training supplied.
Assist with test optimization based on feedback from customers and operations partners based on a solid understanding of the test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.
Maintain with minimal supervision, the continuing performance of the Testers and participate in the OEE improvement plans, yield and test time optimization.
